Who is Bear Grill and show Man vs Wild?

Bear Grylls is the famous host of the show Man vs Wild which run on National Geographic Channel. Both Gryll and its show don’t need any introduction, they are famous for hosting shows on wildlife and nature. Grylls is particular known for his survival in extreme climatic conditions in his show and coming out of the unknown challenges without any modern sophisticated resources and through natures resources. 

Bear Grylls is a British former SAS serviceman, survival instructor, and honorary lieutenant-colonel, and, outside his military career, an adventurer, writer, television presenter and businessman. From his training in army he shares survival tricks. 

As name suggest Man vs Wild is the famous television series which deals with wild conditions of nature and how a Grylls deals with it and come out.

Famous show Man Vs Wild with India’s Prime Minister Modi was shot in Jim Corbett National Park located in Norther India’s Uttarakhand region. Famous for its rich flora and fauna and bengal tigers, leopard, elephant and other animals.

India’s tiger population was depleting fast and tigers of India was announced endanger  species with only 1400 tigers was alive. India along with WWF ran a campaign save the tiger to create awareness about conservation of wildlife and animals. 

Recently PM modi has announced achieving the target of more that double with 3000 tigers living as per recent census. The interesting part of tiger census is it was conducted with Artificial Intelligence System. 

Government Statement on tiger census “The tiger census was carried out in a span of 1.5 years and individual identification was done through pattern recognition programs ExtractCompare. Implementation of conservation initiatives helped provide conducive atmosphere for tiger breeding.

Scientist has collected more than 35 Million pictures from camera trap, from which 76 thousand photos of Tigers were captured and processed by AI to create pattern and finding unique images.
